Lori Hutchinson started her career in hospitality human resources at The Stanford Court Hotel in 1978. In 1982 she opened Campton Place Hotel as Director of Human Resources and stayed in that position until 1986 when she accepted the position of Director of Human Resources at Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. In 1993 Lori founded Hutchinson Consulting. Lori is active in church, community, and professional activities. She a member of the Board of Directors of the International Spa Association (ISPA). She was born and raised in Des Moines Iowa, graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and is the mother of two-Kate and Tucker. Bill Hutchinson developed his training skills as Director of Training for United Way of the Bay Area in the late 1970's. In the early 1980's, as a partner in Otter Hutchinson & Associates, he provided consulting services to Bay Area nonprofits, then founded and directed The Interfaith Task Force on Central America. Bill is an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ and an award-winning author for his book: When the Dogs Ate Candles: A Time in El Salvador. He is a graduate of Pomona College, holds advanced degrees in Education and Theology, and is certified in Management and Training by the National Academy of Volunteerism and the National Society of Fund Raising Executives. Kim Passantino has over twenty years of Human Resources experience in the hospitality, high-tech, and biotech/medical industries. She joined the hospitality field in the early 1990's in Southern California as Corporate Director of Human Resources for the Welk Group. Kim was then recruited by Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and after working as a Human Resources Director in San Francisco, she was promoted to the corporate office to serve as Director of Training and Employee Relations and was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Human Resources. Bette Kolstad came to Hutchinson Consulting in 2002 as Office Manager and subsequently moved into the role of Management Recruiter. Bette was in the Customer Care department at Verio Web Hosting during the "dot.com" boom, supporting a large national sales organization through customized internet-based software programs. This experience enabled Bette to implement a new database system for Hutchinson Consulting, which today facilitates sourcing and matching over 8,000 hospitality management candidates for our clients nationwide. Jane Schneider joined Hutchinson Consulting in 2004 with over ten years of experience in both Human Resources and Accounting. Jane is a local Northern Californian and has spent her entire life in Sonoma and Marin Counties. Prior to joining our team, Jane was the Director of Human Resources for Viansa Winery & Italian Marketplace, America's premier producer of Italian Varietal wines. In addition to Viansa, Jane spent ten years as Controller of Dowling Magnet Company, an award winning educational toy manufacturer. Jane lives in Sonoma with her husband Bob and her son Patrick. Jose A. Luciano began his hospitality career with Marriott International in rooms operations in 1989, then moved into human resources at the Five-Star, Five Diamond Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was then promoted to Director of Human Resources for the Scottsdale Renaissance Resort and later became Director of Associate Relations for the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort and Convention Center-the largest property in the company. He spent five yearswith Marriott's Vacation Club corporate office. Jose received his BS degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management from Purdue University. He was certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) in 1999. He lives in Sonoma, California with his partner and their three dogs. Julie Ambrosini was born and raised in Monterey, California where she started her career at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. She spent four years with Hyatt Hotels, and then moved on to Pebble Beach Resorts and the Resort at Squaw Creek. Julie spent the last thirteen years working for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where she was Director of Human Resources at many domestic and international properties.
